Aging Research: Open Access


Aging Research: Open Access is an open access journal which publishes high quality manuscripts which are recent advances in the understandings of the processes responsible for and associated with aging. As the human life expectancy has increased, so too has the impact of aging on our society. This journal provides a platform for academics all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of aging research.


Aim and Scope:


The main objective of the journal is to maintain and develop aging related research at an international level. To achieve this, it is important to bring together researches and leaders in the scientific disciplines of genetics, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, and behavior, with scholars who focus on examining gerontological, social and cultural constructions of age, aging and later life.

Aging Research: Open Access is an open access journal publishing research/original submissions, reviews, brief reports, case studies, rapid communications, letters to the editor etc. related to research and developments in the field of aging research.


Aging Research: Open Access uses an efficient manuscript tracking system for the peer review process. The submitted manuscripts are sent to two experienced referees from our panel. The contributor’s may submit names of three qualified reviewers who have experience in the subject of the submitted manuscript, but are not associated with the same institution(s) as the contributors, nor have published manuscripts with the contributors in the past 10 years.
