Editorial
Being
a part of the Editorial Board of this esteemed “Biosensors and Bioelectronics
Open Access- An Open Access Journal”, I acknowledge the contribution of all the
author’s, reviewers, editors and other team members of the journal. I am
thankful to all contributor’s for submitting their valuable research works.
While
writing, a research paper many times it is more important to organize it in logical
order for cohesiveness and better readability, rather than organizing it in
chronological order in which the results were obtained. While writing the
research, paper do not let the flow to be disturbed, continue writing in a flow
giving headings, subheadings instead of dwelling on a single point writing and
rewriting it, thinking for the best word etc. this will break the trail of your
thoughts there by increasing overall time to finish paper.Make your objective
and methodology crisp and clear in the abstract as well as introduction. Write
your paper as you will narrate it to someone in a clear and easily
understandable language. When you write always plan your work and time this will
help you in meeting publication requirement deadlines. Try to take help of your
colleague to proofread your work. Getting second people’s opinion can help you
in finding out many simple mistakes which you might have overlooked.
Don’t
try to cram whole of your thesis or project in to a single research paper. Try
to focus on a particular aspect of your thesis/research work in one research
paper. Instead of putting whole work in single paper you can systematically
divide it in to two to three research papers. Make your paper crisp and clear
in objective. A common reason for articles being rejected after peer review is
this lack of context or lack of clarity about why the presented work is
important. Be clear about the nature and scope of your data collection. The
same goes for the use of theory. If a theoretical insight is useful to your
analysis, use it consistently throughout your argument and text. Some journals
rank more highly than others and so your risk of rejection is going to be
greater. People need to think about whether or not they need to see their work
published quickly - because certain journals will take longer. Some journals,
like ours, has efficient system of reviewing, so once the article is accepted
it appears on the journal website. This is important if you’re preparing for a
job interview or a viva- voce and need to show that you are publishable.
The
“Biosensors & Bioelectronics Open Access” is a very good platform for
disseminating research work, ideas and innovations at internationally
recognized platform. Please contribute articles to this journal in a timely
manner, to ensure it gets published timely and becomes part of this important
forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge which will ultimately translate
to better technological exchange of information among peers. If you have any
questions or comments about the Journal, please contact at contact@gavinpublishers.org The Journal is available online, please visit

I
have based this paper on the materials collected from several courses I’ve
attended. It is inspired by many Guidelines for Authors of various reputed
international journals. Some of this information is also featured in various
tutorials available online. In addition, I have consulted several web pages, blogs
etc. for shaping this article. I would like to thank Mr. Amit Saxena and Ms.
Deepti Shinghal for their valuable support, without their help this article
would have been impossible to complete.
