At Archives of Epidemiology, we aim to publish original research articles, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and methodological papers that contribute to the field of epidemiology. We encourage submissions from various areas within epidemiology, including but not limited to:

Epidemiological Studies: We welcome studies that explore the incidence, prevalence, distribution, and natural history of diseases and health conditions in diverse populations. This includes observational studies, cohort studies, case-control studies, cross-sectional studies, and population-based surveys.
Disease Surveillance and Outbreak Investigations: This section focuses on studies that investigate disease outbreaks, monitor the spread of infectious diseases, analyze surveillance data, and evaluate the effectiveness of public health interventions.
Biostatistics and Epidemiological Methods: We encourage submissions that present innovative statistical methods, study designs, modeling approaches, and analytical techniques used in epidemiological research. This includes studies on causal inference, risk assessment, data linkage, and spatial analysis.
Environmental and Occupational Epidemiology: This section encompasses research on the impact of environmental exposures, occupational hazards, air and water pollution, climate change, and other environmental factors on human health.
Genetic and Molecular Epidemiology: We welcome studies that investigate the role of genetic factors, gene-environment interactions, biomarkers, and molecular pathways in the etiology and progression of diseases.
Social and Behavioral Epidemiology: This section focuses on research examining the social determinants of health, health disparities, health behaviors, social networks, psychosocial factors, and interventions to promote healthy behaviors.
Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety: We encourage submissions that address the utilization, safety, and effectiveness of medications in real-world populations, including studies on drug surveillance, adverse events, medication adherence, and pharmacoepidemiological methods.
Nutritional Epidemiology: This section encompasses research on the role of diet, nutrients, dietary patterns, and nutritional status in the development and prevention of diseases.
